12/14/08 Artic Air is Arriving; snow begins falling in areas of the city.

12/18/08 Snow Storm ahead "Snow Totals: I don't think we'll change over to snow here in Portland until late Saturday night. If so, 6-10" of snow is likely, which means 1-2 ft. drifts in the windy areas. Down in Salem the warmer air should cause a switch to freezing rain or just plain rain by daybreak Sunday, then you folks are out of the cold air. In the Gorge, it should be all snow in the central/eastern part through Monday. That means 1-2' of snow at least!"
