Nearby our house is this wonderful trailhead that leads to Lacamas Lake. Lacamas Lake has beautiful estuaries and an occassional peak-a-boo view of Mt Hood.

Lily loves this trail and begins howling in anticipation the second she realizes where we are heading and gets progressively louder the closer we get to the trail.

Today was a picture perfect afternoon. Blue skies, sunshine and cool breezes, just the perfect afternoon to take time out for leisurely stroll.
