Clear blue skies and cool temps. The day was perfect for a visit to the ol' girl, Mt St Helens. She has been continually having activity ever since she woke up a few years ago. Today was a great opportunity to take a drive and see what changes have occurred over the last few years.

As we got closer to the mountain we noticed that she was once again awake and spewing some ash and steam into the air, making it difficult to get the pictures I wanted. However, you can't go wrong with such a subject and I did manage to get some awesome shots as you can see.
